Glenn Collins of the New York Times wrote an informative piece on New York’s gourmet fast-food star, Shake Shack. Mr. Collins calls Shake Shack the “anti-chain chain” and chronicles their deliberately slow expansion. New locations are being scoped out as far away as Kuwait and as close as Boston, where customers would rather call it “Frappe Shack,” named after the preferred Bostonian term for milkshake. Above is Stephen Rushmore’s photo of the Shack’s mouth-watering cheeseburger. Read the Roadfood.com review here.
