A good friend, John Paparazzi, is opening a new store in New Preston, Connecticut on Saturday, November 7. Knowing John, it promises to be a very intriguing inventory. Jane and I will be on hand from about 1pm to 3pm. We will be signing Roadfood and 500 Things to Eat Before It’s Too Late as well as Jane’s Ambulance Girl. We also will have a few DVDs of the movie Ambulance Girl, which was directed by and starred Kathy Bates in an Emmy-nominated performance as Jane. And in keeping with the store’s style, we are going to bring a few copies of our long out-of-print coffee-table books, Elvis World, The Encyclopedia of Bad Taste, and Way Out West. FYI, New Preston is 6 miles from Belgique Patisserie and 9 miles from Mamie's. Hope to see you there!
