Breakfast Shoppe to Move

A while ago Jane and I rhapsodized on The Splendid Table about a restaurant to which Roadfood.com’s buffetbuster had tipped us off: The Breakfast Shoppe of Severna Park, Maryland. A listener of the show took our advice to eat there and subsequently wrote to her local public radio affiliate that she and her husband had enjoyed a great meal, including the best eggs benedict hubby ever ate. She also reported that the restaurant would soon be moving up the road to have more kitchen space. We will post the new address when we have one.

Michael, thanks for letting us know. The Breakfast Shoppe is so popular, a move like this was inevitable. Hopefully, the new place will have a bigger dining area, since the wait on weekend mornings could be maddeningly long.

Thanks for the 'Heads-up' on this move. My wife often travels to this area (from Columbia, Maryland) on business, and the Breakfast Shoppe is one of her favorite stops when in the Saverna Park area. The last time she took me along on her business trip, we enjoyed a fabulous eggs benedict there.

I hope everything goes smoothly.
