The owners of The Camellia Grill, the legendary New Orleans diner, had plans to open a branch in Baton Rouge by the end of the year, but those plans have been put on hold, according to The Times-Picayune. The restaurant was to be located in a retail development called Perkins Rowe but that development is now facing foreclosure. Looks like residents of Baton Rouge will have to make the hour-and-a-half drive if they want to dive in to an omelet buried under chili followed by a wedge of grilled pecan pie.
