It Don’t Come Easy

Got to really try, if you wanna find good pie, and you know it don’t come easy.  That’s what the readers of Roadfood.com said in the recent Roadfood poll: by almost a four-to-one margin they claim it’s getting more difficult rather than easier to find Roadfood.  To the extent that fast food and restaurant chains have spread across the country like the latest computer virus we’d have to say we agree.  It’s getting MORE difficult, but it’s still not THAT difficult.  It just takes a commitment to honing your Roadfood skills, and a continuous recalibration of your Roadfood radar.  And also a willingness to endure lots and lots of mediocre, or worse, food in order to find that gem that we’re all searching for.

Of course, if you’d rather not do the searching yourself, there’s a great website out there that has done, and continues to do, all the legwork for you (by both editors and readers).  What’s it called again?  Oh, yeah… Roadfood.com!  Whether you enjoy searching for that great fried chicken, or would rather just enjoy great fried chicken that’s already been discovered, Roadfood.com is an invaluable resource.  We wouldn’t think of taking a trip without consulting it.
