Attention, Business Travelers

Kozy-K-Winnett-hotel

As frequent travelers, Jane and I spend a lot of time between the last dessert of the day and breakfast sleeping in strange towns with strange lodging. The hotel pictured above, in Winnett, Montana, while certainly colorful, is one where we did not feel compelled to stay. No, when looking for a place to spend the night, we like lots of amenities. Which brings us to Embassy Suites, which has asked us to write a series of articles for business travelers for their newly-redesigned website, called Business Balance. We’ll be doing a story about every two weeks, as well as offering tip sheets for travelers and answering questions from visitors to the site. Please have a look. Our first story is about eating really, really well for very little money. Click the button below to go directly to the Business Balance website:

I'd stay in that place in Montana, as long as the bed was real comfy, and there were decent locks on the doors...
those are my 2 top priorities..

Yeah, and there has to be a good pancake house or deli within walking distance for breakfast.

The back story on that hotel was told by the Stern's on the Splendid Table radio program. It WAS the Winnett Hotel and closed 30 years ago, per the Sterns. Also, check the review on Roadfood for the Kozy Korner Bar & Cafe in Winnett.
