Waitress/Waiter service was the overwhelming favorite in the recent Roadfood.com poll of service preferences. We forgot to include one option, the one depicted in the photo above: carhop service! Yes, carhops are a subset of waitress/waiter service (and maybe take-out/drive-thru too), but we think they deserve a category all their own.
