… and President Obama pulled the lever.  A little over a week ago, then President-elect Obama dined on chili-drenched half-smokes with District Mayor Adrian Fenty.  The lunchtime visit received practically non-stop coast-to-coast media attention, with the result that Ben’s Chili Bowl has become one of the must-visit attractions on every DC tourist’s itinerary, alongside the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian.  Lines at the famed eatery have been running up to an hour-and-a-half long!  See more in this ABC 7 News video.

Go to Youtube and check out the video of Barack at Ben's... when he takes a bite of his half-smoke, you can hear him whisper to Fenty "That's pretty tasty."  Damn right.

Today, the lines are over 21/2 hours.

If they were smart, they could start their own economic recovery program. They could go commercial and sell the dogs and chili at stores. They could expand and open another store.
If I was a bank, I would give them a loan in two seconds and ask for a job. The bank may close, but Ben's will be around for some time.
