This weekend (10/11/08 and 10/12/08) marks the 60th Annual Apple Butter Festival in Burton, OH. The festival will take place on the Century Village Museum grounds. Visitors will be greeted by the sweet aroma of apple butter cooking in huge kettles over an open fire. They can buy that apple butter when it’s done. There will also be barbecue pork sandwiches, apple fritters, and Amish baked goods and produce.
There will be Amish quilts, live music, crafts, antiques, pony rides, games, and resident artisans demonstrating their crafts.
