Rhonda, a Roadfood.com reader who lives in the neighborhood, informed us that Memphis’ Buns on the Run will be closing. We confirmed this with the restaurant. Their last day of business will be Saturday, 11/1/08. Rhonda said they couldn’t keep up with rising costs. Michael Stern, in his Roadfood.com review of Buns on the Run, said it was “off the beaten path, but well-worth the search.” It will be missed.
