The new Shake Shack (Roadfood.com review of the Madison Square Park location; photo of a ShackBurger above) opens on the Upper West Side in NYC Monday at 11 am, according to New York Magazine. You'll find all of the Madison Square Park favorites, like the Ted Drewes-inspired Concretes, Chicago-style hot dogs dragged through the garden, and the famous ShackBurgers and shakes. The new location will also feature on-tap Abita root beer (this is made on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, and it is a really excellent brew) and beers and wines made especially for the Shack.
