The White House Sub Shop of Atlantic City, NJ (Roadfood.com review) makes the definitive submarine sandwich. Good as these sub specialists are, though, a large portion of the credit has to go to the folks who bake their sub rolls (and deliver them fresh up to 12 times a day). Jane and Michael Stern speak with Lynne Rossetto Kasper, on The Splendid Table, about Formica Brothers Bakery, the source for the White House Sub Shop’s exquisitely fresh bread. You can listen to the show this weekend on your 20th-century radio, or catch the show 21st-century style by clicking here for Jane and Michael’s segment, or here for the entire show.
