Bill Livingston, sports columnist for The Cleveland Plain Dealer, writes about his visit to hot dog specialist Pink’s (Roadfood.com review; photo above) in Los Angeles. He tries a 10-inch chili dog with a side of onion rings, and says the chili is similar to Toledo’s Tony Packo’s, but Packo’s dog is better. And he says Bearden’s (of Cleveland) onion rings are far superior. He also gives shout-outs to Ted’s (Roadfood.com review) of Buffalo for their hot dogs, and Louis Mueller's (Roadfood.com review) of Texas for brisket. Best hot dogs in Cleveland? Bill says Hot Dog Heaven in Amherst.
