Many Roadfooders bemoaned our exclusion of Wentworth’s of Hamden in the Top 50 New England Ice Cream Tour, but let us state that it was strictly an oversight. Coupled with a very Dr. Mike’s-influenced Mocha Lace (made with the same Chocolate Lace candy from Hauser Chocolatier in Bethel), these sweet scoops sang a satisfying song on a muggy Connecticut summer night.
