Brooklyn’s Grimaldi’s Shut Down by NY For Non-Payment of Tax; Reopens Hours Later

Brooklyn’s legendary pizzeria Grimaldi’s was shut down yesterday at about noon by the State Department of Taxation for failure to pay about $160,000 in back taxes.  It reopened by 5 p.m., presumably after a settlement was reached.  Read more in Newsday.
