The Famous Turkey Barbecue at the 48th Turkey Rama will take place Saturday, July 12th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fresh barbecued turkey will be available along with potato salad, coleslaw, rolls, watermelon, cake, and drinks for $12. Or pick up half a barbecued turkey for takeout; only $15! The turkey barbecue is the highlight of the three-day Oregon festival that commemorates the turkey industry that once surrounded McMinnville. There’ll also be a Winemakers Dinner Friday night, a wine and beer garden, a pancake breakfast on Saturday, and a downtown festival with crafts and food vendors all day Friday and Saturday.
