The definitive resource for news, events and reviews of great regional food from around the country
Located on a real farm and absolutely packed on the weekends (so much that they have a parking attendant directing traffic), Rich Farm is a three-generation dairy farm that has received much press since they began churning ice cream in 1994. In addition to freshly baked pies and raw milk, seasonal hay rides and pumpkins are also available on the premises. Michael Stern himself was holding our place in line while we parked, and there were at least 20 people in line at each of the four serving windows!

Our recommendation - We would experience Rich Farm if were traveling through the town.

Loved their coffee ice cream - very creamy without that fake texture that most ice cream nowadays gets from ingredients like carageenan and guar gum. The coffee flavor had just the right balance - not bitter and not too sweet. I would give this at least four stars, maybe five.
