New England Ice Cream 019

Upon entering Brickley’s, we were immediately assaulted by the sweet aroma of freshly-baked waffle cones. You can always find rosy-faced scoopers who will happily dish up anything from a single scoop cone to a massive hot fudge sundae. This local institution is a favorite stop for folks heading to or from the South County shoreline.

Our recommendation - We would experience Brickley's Ice Cream if were traveling through the town.

Trip Report Card
Overall Experience

Coffee Ice Cream - A mild coffee flavor with no synthetic aftertaste like some commercial brands.
Pistachio Ice Cream - Boasting with large nut pieces with a flavor that approached almond extract.
Vanilla Ice Cream - A tad icy, though it grew creamier after sitting for a few minutes.
Hot Fudge Sauce - Strictly ladled from a large can, but still enjoyable on the vanilla.
