Check out this profile of Wilton Candy Kitchen in Wilton Iowa, from American Profile Magazine.  From Marti Attoun's story: "'We serve happiness,' says owner and soda jerk George Nopoulos, 88. 'That’s our duty.'"

And that's Mr. Nopoulos in the buffetbuster photo above, from the Roadfood.com review of Wilton Candy Kitchen.  buffetbuster says: "Spending time chatting with charming owner George Nopoulos is as much a part of the experience at Wilton Candy Kitchen as is eating the first-rate ice cream."

And just what does the title of this entry refer to?  Read the American Profile article, or the Roadfood.com review, to find out.

Meeting George Napoulos is one of my all-time favorite Roadfood memories. Johnny and I got there just as they opened and we had him to ourselves for the first half hour. Just a very interesting man, with lots of great stories. When the place started to fill up with other customers, we headed out the door. As we started to pull out in the car, he came hurriedly out the door, waving us down. I thought I forgot my camera or something. Instead, he was bringing us out pens that said Wilton Candy Kitchen on it. What a nice man!
