The first ever Palm Springs Restaurant Week begins Sunday and continues through Friday next week. Taking inspiration from similar off-season dining programs in cities around the country, 32 Palm Springs (we’re talking California here) restaurants will be offering three-course set menus for either $26 or $36. For more info, see the Restaurant Week website or this article by Judith Salkin in the Desert Post Weekly.
One of the participating restaurants is LG’s Prime Steak House; that’s a prime steak in the photo above, from Michael Stern’s Roadfood.com review. He says, “Nothing but prime beef is served here, and it is as good as meat can be.” LG’s will be doing the $36 option, which will include a side dish in addition to an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
