Casamento's 003

While about 60 of us are still recovering from the Austin Roadfood Eating Tour, it is not too early to think about our next gathering.  Nancy Leson of the Seattle Times has raised my eyebrow with a great idea - she visited about 1/2 dozen oyster bars throughout the Seattle area in search for "heaven on a half-shell."

Seattle also = great donuts and, of course, coffee (and tea) and I wonder if we can all fit into Mike's Chili Parlor?

What about a 'roadfood' at the Acme Oyster House in New Orleans? The Gulf Coast is the "BEST" for fresh seafood!!

A Roadfood Tour of New Orleans would be convenient for Jan and me, we've been there many times. Seattle, on the other hand, would be a dream trip for us if we could organize it! Besides, it would offer different experiences in food and drink--always a good thing.

Note correction: A Roadfood Tour of New Orleans would be convenient for Jan and me, but we've been there many times.

Seattle would be a blast. However I think Portland, Oregon would be a superior choice.
