New England Ice Cream 019

Peaceful Meadows Farm is a family-friendly, year-round landmark serving dairy-fresh scoops of ice cream in a rural setting.  Most flavors are airier and lighter than your typical creamery, and the hot fudge has a nice bitter chocolate punch.  After you finish your cone at this outdoor-only ice cream stand, you can bring the kids to the barn out back to meet the milk-makers themselves.

Our recommendation - We would drive across several towns to experience Peaceful Meadows Farm

Frozen Pudding ice cream is a rare find around New England, and I was curious about its ingredients. Before we left, I inquired at the counter, and the manager pulled out the store handbook to show me the contents. It really did taste like fruitcake!
