With weathered fluorescent's under the eaves giving everything a '50s yellow tint, Kimball Farms ice cream stand sits right in the middle of pastoral Carlisle, a thickly forested village with ancient stone fences and absolutely no commercial development (fast food, strip malls, condos, etc.). Without even a traffic light to interrupt the mood of this fiercely rural community, Kimball Farms serves hearty flavors to customers, many of whom drive from a few towns over to experience these frozen confections.

Our recommendation - We would travel across several towns to experience Kimball Farm Ice Cream.
| Trip Report Card |
| Overall Experience | |
| |
| Kahlua Crunch Ice Cream - Mild coffee flavor with chocolate crisps mixed in. The smooth texture of the cream was a delight to our senses. | |
| Maple Walnut Ice Cream - Loaded with walnuts, but a weak maple flavor. The uneven consistency created a lopsided experience. | |
| Vanilla Ice Cream - Creamy, rich, and smooth. | |
| Hot Fudge Sauce - Thick and gooey, but we would prefer a little more chocolate flavor. | |
