Dallas Morning News Story

Today's Dallas Morning News has a story about last month's Roadfood.com eating tour of Texas. It was written by Joyce Saenz Harris, who ate her way along with us, and the website version includes a nice video of the tour depicting us devouring pounds of beef interspersed with an interview of me pontificating. My favorite moment in the video is Marc Bruno dipping his white bread into the comingled juices of sausage and prime rib at Smitty's in Lockhart.

Really nice article and video.  It reminds me of what a great time I had that day.  What I want to know is, how does the camera keep finding ChiTownDiner over and over?

Pretty ladies - handsome men - and an alert camera person!

Love the article!  I had a chance to go back to Smitty's just last week and they were out of prime rib at 2 o'clock on Thursday so I guess they keep that stuff in short supply to keep us coming back.

At the time, I hadn't listened to Jane & Michael on Splendid Table to hear about the Texas Pie Company but I drove right past it.  Well, there is always next time. . . .
